Really nice place. Great views, Hot tub is great addition. Good communication with owner. Highly recommend
Just returned home from a lovely weeks holiday at Channel View, fabulous cottage in a fabulous quiet spot in a fabulous part of the country. Everything you could possibly need provided, comfy beds, great hot tub and garden and a handy super market just up the road. Short stroll down to harbour and high street 15 mins easier walk there than back but 2 mins in hot tub eases the aching muscles!!!!! Will most definatley return sometime in the future

From the minute we arrived I felt at home at 65 Channel View. It is modern, clean, peaceful , well set out and had everything we needed and more for our weeks stay . I slept very well with the combination of the sea air the hot tub and the comfy bed. .The extra touches of a welcome pack and cleaning stuff , bin bags, iron and board etc was great . There are family Games and an X box, 2 TVs , high chair , hoover, hairdryer and more . The view is Delightful , it was the reason that we picked this place, along with the Hot tub . Well! the lovely bubblyHot tub was great to come back to and relax in after exploring all the nearby Beaches. Ilfracombe is central to lots of lovely places and I like to explore, this was made easy with the Information Pack provided . It list all the nearby Beaches and places to visit , gives post codes and a bit about them ,was very helpful . There is parking on the street at the front of the property , But better to park at the back of the property infront of the garage . There is a big Tesco about 3 mins away and lots of eateries around . I recommend a trip down in to Ilfracombe town and the Harbour to see Damien Hirsts Statue Verity you can see her from the property Also a walk up and around Hillsborough sleeping Elephant the Hill to the right of your view from the accomadation Hele Bay is on the other side and there are numerous view points along the route to look back on the stunning views of Ilfracombe , the Bristol Channel, across to North Wales and Lundy Island . boat trips out in season I Loved Woolacombe , Westward Ho ,Croydon and Baggy point cliffs , Staunton Sands amazing Sun sets from these all beaches and lynmouth, I recommend you go up the funicular cliff Railway up to Linton and do the Poets walk back down to lynmouth , highest and steepest totally water powered railway Lots to see and do . The Accomadation is also very Dog friendly too! What more can I say ! All in all it has been a really lovely week . We Had lovely weather for March that was a bonus . I would 100 recommend 65 Channel View and would be Happy to return .
Just returned from a fabulous week's stay at 65 Channel View. Beautiful accommodation throughout with a gorgeous sea view which was enjoyed from the hot tub and balcony! 1010 from us! Thank you!
We had a very enjoyable stay. The house was lovely and had everything we needed. Great location, lovely view of the sea and a pleasant space to be in. The hot tub was also I think the best we have had to date. Would definitely recommend.
Very pleased with our stay, very comfortable beds, very clean, nice touches were the board games that were available, tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival, separate towels for hot tub, sea view was lovely. I would have preferred a few more items in the kitchen for some home cooking eg baking dishes. Well positioned for exploring North Devon and would stay again.
A lovely property, very comfortable, clean and well appointed. We had a great stay and would definitely visit again. Couple of things that would make the house even better are some hooks for coats and towels and some blackout curtains or blinds in the 2 largest bedrooms. These are not complaints just a bit more icing on a welldecorated cake!
We were all so impressed with this property, it was like home from home. Would definitely stay here again
This property was immaculately clean, modern and very well equipped. It has a spectacular view of the Bristol Channel from the decking and back garden. Parking is available either at the front or back of the property It is situated about a mile from the harbour, it is downhill on the way but a steep walk back but you can stop at The Thatch pub to break the walk! Also there are steps down to the property and down from the decking to the garden. It is ideally located for Tesco too. I would highly recommend this property if you don't have mobility issues.

Beautiful accommodation which was very clean, tidy and comfortable with Beautiful scenery and neighbours.
Just returned from a fantastic week at Channel View, great location, fabulous views! Perfect, enclosed garden with no concerns about our dog or kids! escaping! Only thing we felt was missing was some hooks to hang towels on, other than that it was perfect, will definitely visit again, we didn't want to leave!

This is a wonderful bungalow which is very modern inside. The views from the raised terrace are really lovely, great to wake up to in a morning. We also loved using the hot tub after days out exploring. We chose to park in front of the bungalow itself but there is also parking in front of the garage at the back. The garden is enclosed, even for our small dog, which was good. The kitchen is well equipped. A slow cooker might be a nice addition. Plenty of towels were supplied, with separate ones to be used for the hot tub. Labelled bags were left out to put laundry in on departure and instructions for recycling very organised! One minor point for us was that the toilet paper provided was of a very poor quality and did not reflect the high standard of everything else. This is not a complaint but just something that the owners might appreciate feedback on. This was our first visit to Devon and we loved it. Some really interesting places to visit and the bungalow provided excellent accommodation for us and our little dog, Thankyou.
Had a fabulous 2 week stay, was really like a home from home
Absolutely beautiful property with the added advantage of a hot tub to relax in whilst looking at the sea. Wonderful! Everything was immaculately clean

Had a fabulous 2 week stay, was really like a home from home. Absolutely beautiful property with the added advantage of a hot tub to relax in whilst looking at the sea. Wonderful!
Home from home. The property looks as if it has had a recent modernisation so everything feels clean and new. It was very clean when we arrived and the view of the Bristol Channel on entry is a definite wow factor. There is everything you need for a pleasant and comfortable stay. Positioned for easy access to the benifits of ilfracombe and Tescos just around the corner. Good position to explore the delights of Devon. Thank you to Eathan for his help during a very pleasant stay .

As we have a few mobility issues we think a hand rail down the front steps would be a good idea
BEWARE
IF YOU HAVE A DOG DO NOT STAY HERE. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RELAX AND ENJOY YOUR STAY. We have stayed at lots of dog friendly cottages with no issues. From the moment we arrived, we were bombarded with notices, texts and emails warning us we would lose the ?320 bond if it wasn't cleaned. We spent 2 hours cleaning it and it was immaculate. But then we were sent photos of 3 dog hairs and charged ?160!
A beautiful holiday home, in a perfect location. Great views. Everything we could've needed was provided, as well as the home being presented to an immaculate standard.
Christian

Great holiday rental! ! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! This house has everything you could need for a lovely holiday. The kitchen is really well equipped & the views and property are stunning. Communication was excellent and we will be returning!
