We had a really lovely time! Shirley and Mike are such warm hosts, making us feel right at home from the start. Our kids, aged 4 and 8, were thrilled to get involved in feeding the lambs and loved exploring the farm animals and play area. The hot tub was a real treat after long days out. The barn had everything we neededand the peaceful rural setting was perfect for relaxing. Plus, plenty of beaches were within an hour's drive, which was great. Thanks for a wonderful stay-we'll definitely be coming back!

We stayed here in October and honestly, it was such a lovely experience. The barn felt super cosy and spotless, with everything we needed for a comfortable break. The hot tub was ready when we arrived, which was perfect after a long journey. Shirley greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home, plus the homemade scones in the welcome pack were a lovely surprise. Our kids loved feeding the farm animals with Mike, who was fantastic. Just a heads up-if you're exploring around the area, be prepared for some small farm roads! Would definitely recommend.

Our little one adored the play area and feeding the farm animals - she was thrilled! The hot tub was perfect for the grown-ups to kick back after busy days. The accommodation was spot on, super comfyand well stocked. Listening to the sheep, ducksand birds every morning was such a treat. The hosts and their adorable dogs were really welcoming too. A lovely rural barn conversion that we discovered after driving down some tiny lanes in Devon. This charming old building offers a really comfy holiday retreat. You're surrounded by the sounds of the countryside - cows mooing, sheep bleatingand cockerels crowing (not so fun at 4 in the morning!!), plus the chatter of various little birds. Mike and Shirley are the most kind hosts, always up for a chat about the farm and eager to show you some of the animals. Our grandson says he'll miss Apollo and Annie, the ponies!
Avie
We spent some time at this lovely barn with our daughter and the two little grandkids. It was just right, safe for them to roam around both inside and outsideand super comfy! Waking up to nothing but the sounds of animals and birds was wonderfuland the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after some busy days out. The location is quite rural, which we adore, yet you can easily reach most attractions, the moorland or the coast in less than an hour. Shirley, Mike Cox and family, along with the locals, were all so welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend it!

It really felt like a peaceful oasis among all the farm activity. The enclosed garden is perfect for the kidsand the hot tub is just so relaxing. The acommodation had everything we needed for our family. There are amazing beaches and fun outings all within a 30 to 60-minute drive. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Vivi
What a lovely cosy place to stay! The cottage was immaculate and super comfortable. The owners were really welcoming and had left us a cream tea along with other goodies. Millie the dog was a delightful daily visitor. The weather was a bit variable but that didn't spoil our enjoyment at alland we even managed a couple of dips in the hot tub. We'd definitely suggest the Duke of York and the New Inn for a good meal out. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this cottage and look forward to returning one day.
